About Eustis, Florida
Incorporated in 1883, Eustis has a population of approximately 18,000, covering 11.4 square miles. It is ideally located in the heart of Central Florida - situated in the Orlando metropolitan area. This proud and spirited City provides municipal services of the highest quality in a financially prudent and customer friendly manner. The City partners with its community and engages residents to create a superior quality of life. Eustis completed a massive Downtown Streetscape Construction Project in November 2010 to revitalize the downtown business core and provide for economic development activity. Our Historic Downtown now features two-way traffic, 14’ sidewalks, and improved pedestrian access, traffic circulation, and drainage. Through this project, the City worked with the local businesses and other partnership organizations to ensure continued business activity and communication. More recently, the City completed a $6.5 million stormwater project providing for increased property value and higher density in the downtown.
